Request Instrument Information

Have you recently acquired an early Mayfield Instrument? Please contact us with questions about its history, or to obtain a certificate with original notes about the instrument from Lyle's notebooks, chronological serial numbers (which have been updated to reflect a comprehensive list of all Mayfield Instruments from 1962 to present), and any other pertinent information. We also provide complete service for each original - including string re-scaling service for improved tone and tuning - and will build an authentic reproduction case to match the style of Lyle's originals, upon request. Much of the data regarding tuning and/or stringing is available for originals and your instrument can be set back to original specifications, or updated.
